Born in Lahore, Azhar Ali is a right-handed batsman renowned for his disciplined technique and composure at the crease. Since making his Test debut against Australia in 2010, he has become a permanent fixture in Pakistan’s top-order batting lineup.

A career highlight arrived in 2016 during the inaugural day-night Test match against the West Indies. Azhar delivered a historic performance, anchoring the innings with a marathon unbeaten knock of 302 runs.
