Lily Ava Bassingthwaighte is a rising fast-bowling allrounder hailing from Brisbane. A versatile talent, she operates as a right-arm medium-pace bowler and a right-handed batter.
Having honed her skills within the Queensland cricket pathway system, Bassingthwaighte earned her maiden contract with the Queensland Fire ahead of the 2024–25 WNCL season.
Her potential on the international stage was highlighted during the 2025 ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, where she represented Australia. Throughout the tournament, she delivered several standout performances, most notably recording figures of 3-7 against Sri Lanka and 2-4 against Nepal.
