Jade Elizabeth Allen is a highly promising leg-spinner hailing from Cobargo on the south coast of New South Wales. Known for her exceptional ability to generate plenty of turn, the young spinner’s immense potential was recognized early when she secured her first professional contracts with New South Wales and the Sydney Sixers by the age of just 17.
Allen’s rapid ascent was further highlighted during the 2022 Under-19 National Championships, where she captained the NSW Country side. Leading from the front, she delivered a standout tournament, claiming the second-most wickets of any bowler while also showcasing her all-round capabilities by scoring 169 runs.
These impressive performances paved the way for higher honors, earning her selection in the Australian Under-19 squad for the historic, inaugural Women’s U19 T20 World Cup in 2023.
