A seasoned medium pacer for Bangladesh, Jahanara Alam has made a lasting impact on the world of international cricket with over 100 appearances to her name.

It all began in November 2011 when Alam made her One Day International (ODI) debut against Ireland, marking the start of a storied career. Less than a year later, she took to the T20 International (T20I) stage against the same opposition, solidifying her presence in the world of cricket.

Alam’s impressive record in T20 World Cups is a testament to her skill and dedication. Her standout performances include figures of 3-16 against England in the 2016 edition, followed by 3-23 against the West Indies and 3-21 against Sri Lanka in the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20.

A major milestone in her career came in June 2018 when Alam achieved her first five-wicket haul in international cricket against Ireland, securing crucial wickets with an impressive 5-28.
