Kasey Barton is a competitive fast bowler with a strong pedigree in the Australian youth cricket system. Originally a Wollongong product with roots in Mossman, he developed his skills through the ranks of the New South Wales underage setup, representing NSW Country at both the Under-17 and Under-19 levels.
Barton’s international trajectory began to accelerate in 2025 when he represented Australia at the U17 championships. That same year, he demonstrated his potential on the international stage by taking an impressive 4-57 in a Youth Test match against India U19.
After playing first-grade cricket for Wollongong during the 2024-25 season, Barton relocated to Sydney for the 2025-26 summer. His consistent performances were rewarded with selection for Australia’s squad at the U19 World Cup in early 2026.
