About Kristen Maree Beams
Kristen Maree Beams established herself as one of the premier spin bowlers in the country before earning her international debut for Australia in September 2014 against Pakistan.
Although she was a late arrival to the international stage, Beams quickly proved that her leg-breaks were effective at claiming wickets against the world’s best batters.
Originally hailing from Tasmania, Beams reached a significant milestone in August 2015 when she made her Test debut during Australia’s successful Ashes series against England. She made a vital contribution in that match, scoring 26 runs in the first innings.
Beyond her international commitments, Beams has served as the captain of the Victorian Spirit.
